Our Grade 2 Music Theory course is the next step after Grade 1, ideal for anyone who already has a basic understanding of music theory and wants to go further. It’s still beginner-friendly, but we’ll start to explore more detail and depth – perfect if you’re aiming to work steadily towards Grade 5 Theory, or just want to understand music on a deeper level. By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident reading and analysing music, as well as applying your knowledge to the pieces you play. Course Details Start Date: 27 October 2025 End Date: 31 October 2025 Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM Duration: 2 hours per session Course Length: 5 days Cost: £175 for the entire course (ABRSM Discovering Music Theory Grade 2 book not included) Where: Zoom Course Format Interactive Sessions: Each session will be conducted live online, allowing for real-time interaction with the instructor and fellow students. A Zoom link will be provided to participants before the course will begin. Application to Instruments: The theory taught will be applicable to various instruments, making the lessons practical and relevant. Instructors The course is led by experienced music educators with extensive backgrounds in teaching and performance. Their goal is to make complex concepts easy to understand and apply. Teaching materials not included, students should purchase an ABRSM Discovering Music Theory Grade 2 book.
